We have had an amazing week at electronica 2022 in Munich! We would like to thank our partners and every person who came to visit our stand. ACP COMMITTED TO THE ENVIRONMENT

ACP incorporates self-generation of electricity through photovoltaic panels. At ACP we are aware of the need to take care of the environment.  Our daily activities include tasks and controls aimed at minimizing the generation of waste, as well as its handling and management with the purpose of reducing its environmental impact as much as possible. All this will be recognized at the end of this year by obtaining the ISO 14000 certificate. An important step in this direction has been the recent installation of photovoltaic solar panels on the roof of our factory. In this way we have started to self-supply part of the electricity consumption necessary for the operation of our facilities. With the self-generation of electricity through this clean technology we take another step towards reducing the CO2 footprint of our activity. We estimate that this self-generation of energy is equivalent to an annual saving of about 132Tn of CO2 or the planting of more than 3,000 trees.  

CSF14: NEWCOMER!!!

CSF14. HP pluggable version of an endless carbon potentiometer . ACP introduces the CSF14.HP series pluggable to a RAST 2,5 card edge connector. This series is available with endless-turn in standard configuration and can also incorporate mechanical end stops on request. CSF14. HP can be fixed directly to front panel through M4 screws or clamps. The disposition of the three pins is such that a portion of their surface will get in touch with the metal contact beams of the card edge connector when plugged together. Thanks to this concept we can transmit the output signal from the potentiometer to the customer electronics just using a suitable connector. In this way, we will save important costs such as the removal of the soldering process and the need for a PCB suited for a card edge connection. External housing increases the product robutness and holds a CS14 endless turn potentiometer inside as well. Tight absolute linearity, CS14 standard mechanical detents, high-temperature fitting (up to 120ºC), etc are available options under request. Pluggable series can be customized to meet specific customer requirements. Applications: In cooking ovens as feedback position sensor, cooking style selector, or temperature/time setting dial.  Switch selector for washing machines, dishwashers, tumble dryers.   Contact ACP’s Customer Service team or your nearest ACP local distributor for further information and sample request.

MCS14: NEWCOMER!!!

MCS14 carbon potentiometer with plastic enclosure and shaft. Thanks to the CS14 placed inside its plastic enclousure, we can achive 360º of mechanical rotation (electrical angle up to 330º). The plastic enclosure is fitted with a bushing for fixation to a panel through a nut and a washer. Through-hole and pluggable configurations are available. Terminals and collector are manufactured in tinned brass, although versions with steel terminals are also available under request. Terminals for through-hole models can be provided straight or crimped, which helps hold the component to the PCB during soldering. Ingress Protection rating type IP 54 (high level of protection against dust and also against water splashing), according to IEC 60529. Plastic materials (housing and rotor) are self-extinguishable according to UL 94 V-0 for ACP’s cermet potentiometers. Tapers can be linear, log and antilog; special tapers can also be studied. Extended temperature versions covering a range from -25°C to +105°C are available for applications where the working temperature interval exceeds the standard limits of -25°C to+70°C. MCS14 potentiometers are used in control applications: – Electronic appliances, heating, HVAC systems, thermostats, washing machines, dishwashers, tumble-dryers, etc… Contact ACP’s Customer Service team or your nearest ACP local distributor for further information and sample request.
