CA9V SMD CY series readily available for mass production
Following the increasing market demand, ACP has tooled up the necessary equipment for mass production of the CA9V SMD CY potentiometer series. All rotor configurations, standard and special resistive tracks, detents and accessories already existing for the CA9VSMD types are also valid options for the CA9VSMD CY models. Packaging in Tape-n-Reel is offered in two possible configurations: reels of 13 and 15 inches diameter, that can accommodate 750 and 1000 pieces respectively, as usual it can add 9002 thumbwheel model too. Samples for testing can be ordered through the normal channels.
ACP introduces the Q16 Rotary Potentiometer Switch series
Q16 is the result of combining together a CS14 endless turn potentiometer with an external robust and precise detent mechanism. The design is patented and it allows to choose between 4 different detent torque values and the use of a top or below side thru mount shaft. The standard configuration includes a linear taper CS14 and the mechanism is fitted with 16 detents evenly spread along the 360º. Output voltages are guaranteed for more than 10.000 turns without overlapping between contiguous detent positions. The main application is the program selection between different options, typically in appliances such as Washing Machines, Dishwashers, Clothes Dryers, Electric Ovens, Kitchen Robots and many others. In the Automotive field a common application would be the Rotary Air Flow Distribution Selection Switch.

This SMD model has been available for a number of years only for prototype series and short production runs. All rotor configurations, standard and special resistive tracks, detents and accessories already existing for the CA9VSMD types are also valid options for the CA9HSMD models. Packaging in Tape-n-Reel is offered in two possible configurations: reels of 13 and 15 inches diameter, that can accommodate 350 and 500 pieces respectively. Samples for testing can be ordered through the normal channels.
